Job summary

Tombras seeks a Director of Paid Search to lead and optimize enterprise-scale campaigns using Google Ads, YouTube, Display, and Shopping. You will mentor team members, build strong client relationships, and drive data-driven strategies enhanced by AI and automation across multiple surfaces.

You’ll collaborate across social, programmatic and investment teams, leveraging performance data to deliver incremental impact and optimize budgets for multiple clients and verticals.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Paid Search experience within an advertising agency.
• Google Ads certifications.
• Critical Thinking & Problem-Solving: analyze data insights and make strategic decisions beyond standard optimizations.
• Proactive & Self-Driven Work Ethic: initiative and ownership to improve workflows.
• Early AI Adoption & AI Implementation: leveraging AI/LLMs and Google's AI automation to enhance campaigns and reporting.
• Continuous Learning Mindset: eagerness to learn new technologies and trends.
• Collaboration & Communication: work across teams to develop cross‑channel media solutions.
• Intimate knowledge of paid search campaigns across Google, Bing, Apple.

Responsibilities

• Architect Google Ads and Microsoft Ads campaigns across Search, YouTube, Display and Shopping.
• Hands-on role with a player-coach mentality and strong client communication.
• Present tactical plans and campaign status to senior clients.
• Manage budgets, bids, and pacing with advanced strategies.
• Research keywords and analyze relevance with CRM data.
• Advise on landing page strategies and optimization.
• Extract insights from large data sets for monthly meetings and QBRs.
• Conduct A/B testing to improve ROI and lead generation.
• Monitor performance in Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and SA360.
• Collaborate with media and creative teams for cohesive data-driven plans.
