Job summary

Aonic is seeking an AI-Native Operations & Sourcing Manager to work directly with the CEO on building an AI-powered sourcing and operations machine. You will turn ambiguous problems into structured analyses and executable workflows, often by crafting AI-driven systems.

The role is broad and demanding, designed for someone early in their career seeking rapid learning and real ownership. You'll tackle end-to-end projects in operations, sourcing, finance, and automation, with substantial equity

Qualifications

• Degree from a top-tier university in engineering, science, math, business, or related field.
• Business candidates must have self-taught coding and technical fluency.
• AI-native mindset with hands-on experience using AI tools, automation, and low-code solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability across operations, growth, and finance.
• Genuine interest in solving real-world problems including production, supply chain, warehousing, delivery and customer experience.
• Extremely hungry and ambitious, seeking responsibility and steep growth.
• Strong work ethic and intensity, comfortable with long hours.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve day-to-day operations across fulfillment, customer experience, supply chain coordination, and internal workflows.
• Identify bottlenecks and design AI-driven solutions to remove them.
• Own specific operational projects end-to-end, from problem definition to execution.
• Use AI to scan the market for new products and ingredients and build a sourcing pipeline.
• Build automated supplier discovery and outreach workflows at scale.
• Design AI-assisted negotiation workflows and close deals.
• Support financial analysis, forecasting, and unit economics.
• Build dashboards and AI-powered reporting tools.
• Help leadership make data-driven decisions based on contribution margin and real economics.
• Leverage AI, automation, and low-code tools to improve speed and quality.
• Build internal tools and scripts to reduce manual work.
• Seek opportunities to replace effort with systems.
• Tackle high-priority projects directly with the CEO.
• Move between strategy and execution as needed.
• Own problems without instructions.
