Job summary

V2X is seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain a modern AI-optimized network architecture. You will deploy and enforce Zero Trust, SASE, and IAM across cloud and on‑prem environments, while driving automation with Ansible, Terraform, and Python.

The role emphasizes secure, observable, and scalable networks for AI workloads, with opportunities to influence policy, security governance, and cross‑cloud connectivity. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT/CS/cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure, network engineering, and security operations experience.
• Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture, SASE platforms, and IAM.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, and IaC.

Responsibilities

• Implement ZTNA policies aligned to NIST 800-207 and CMMC requirements.
• Configure segmentation, micro-segmentation, and least-privilege access across environments.
• Deploy CASB, SWG, and FWaaS within the SASE framework and manage policies.
• Maintain low-latency network paths for AI traffic and telemetry.
• Provide Tier II/III support for campus networking and telecom infrastructure.
• Develop IaC scripts using Ansible, Terraform, and Python.
• Configure cross-cloud networking and observability platforms.
• Ensure compliance with NIST 800-171 and CMMC Level 2.
