Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking an experienced Network Security Architect for the Enterprise Network Architecture team in Santa Clara. You’ll design and implement security frameworks, collaborate across IAM, NAC/802.1X, and Zero Trust, and translate security capabilities into scalable production-grade controls.

The role focuses on agentic AI workload isolation, east-west segmentation, and securing lab networks, with automation in Python/Go, threat modeling, and cloud security.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in a relevant engineering or science field.
• 12+ years building and supporting large-scale hybrid networks with secure foundations.
• Experience developing automation with Python, Ruby, Go or similar.
• Advanced knowledge of NIST CSF, CIS controls, or MITRE ATT&CK.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols and encryption services.
• Experience evaluating vendor platforms and internal security initiatives.
• Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud security practices.
• Experience collaborating with identity/IAM and product security teams.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity around AI security workloads.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement network protection frameworks such as firewalls and VPNs.
• Partner with IAM, NAC/802.1X, and Zero Trust policy to drive secure access decisions.
• Enable NVIDIA security products for internal customers at scale.
• Design network isolation for autonomous AI workloads and multi-tenant envs.
• Lead east-west segmentation and firewall-based boundary points.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend security solutions and technology.
• Conduct security audits and penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities.
• Create and maintain security documentation and roadmaps.
