Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Software Engineer (MTS) to join the Platform Engineering team within Cloud Infrastructure. You will build and operate core platform services in Go and Python, enabling Kubernetes across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI, while embracing an agentic mindset and AI-assisted engineering from day one.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure engineering and CD.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience deploying and automating workloads.
• Proficiency in Go and/or Python for building services and tooling.
• Multi-cloud exposure, primarily AWS, with core compute and networking knowledge.
• Familiarity with Flux or Argo CD and infra-as-code (Pulumi/Terraform).
• Demonstrated AI literacy and an agentic mindset in daily work.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain platform services and automation in Go and Python for Kubernetes clusters across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.
• Contribute to CD pipelines using GitOps tooling to enable safe releases.
• Engage in fleet initiatives for cluster lifecycle, upgrades, and observability with senior engineers.
• Partner with SRE, security, and product teams to deliver self-service platform capabilities and reduce toil.
• Leverage AI tools in coding, debugging, and automation to amplify output.
• Participate in design and code reviews and write technical docs.
• Join on-call rotations and help improve platform reliability.
