Job summary

Hearst in Carmel, IN is seeking an FDB Prizm Application Specialist (Developer) to design, develop, and maintain the Prizm Medical Device Database and MDMS, with AI-enabled tooling.

You will automate data workflows using Python, manage ETL pipelines, validate FDA sources, and collaborate with QA, DBAs, and cross-functional partners to deliver reliable data builds. This hybrid role positions you within a leading health information company.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in software development with Python/Java.
• Experience with HTML/CSS in UI development.
• Knowledge of ETL and data integration concepts.
• Ability to work with FDA data sources and client APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the Prizm Medical Device Database.
• Own MDMS features and data workflows, UI and back-end.
• Automate data workflows with Python and ETL pipelines.
• Collaborate with QA, database admins, and cross-functional teams.
• Validate AI-generated code and integrate AI-enabled tools.
