Job summary

EY is seeking a Solution Manager in Supply Chain Manufacturing Operations to design, build, test, and scale AI-enabled manufacturing solutions. You will combine manufacturing expertise with data platforms to create reusable assets and demonstrators that can be deployed by pursuit and delivery teams.

You will work with practitioners, data engineers, researchers, and software developers to turn priority use cases into production-ready assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, information systems, manufacturing, supply chain, or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in AI solution development, industrial data platforms, digital manufacturing, or related fields.
• Experience building working AI, data analytics, or software solutions, not just advisory roles.
• Experience designing and implementing RAG-based applications, AI copilots, and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, hands-on development, testing, documentation, and continuous improvement of AI-based manufacturing solutions and reusable components.
• Translate manufacturing problems into clearly defined AI use cases, user stories, and requirements.
• Lead use-case development from concept to working prototype and industrialization handoff.
• Design data platform architectures connecting MES/MOM, ERP, historians, SCADA, PLC, and other systems.
• Build and operationalize manufacturing knowledge graphs and data models across assets, sites, lines, and materials.
• Define and implement ontologies, metadata, and governance standards for consistent meaning across plants and systems.
• Develop prompt libraries, retrieval strategies, and evaluation datasets for generative AI solutions.
• Configure and extend SymphonyAI Industrial capabilities and low-code/no-code applications.
• Establish development standards for source control, testing, and release management.
• Create reference implementations and demonstration environments for integrated AI solutions.
• Maintain solution backlogs and coordinate multidisciplinary contributors through agile cycles.
