Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Market Development Manager to lead the marketing workstream for an AI-enabled scientific platform that helps lab scientists design experiments and access trusted product knowledge.

You will own messaging, launch planning, campaign execution, and adoption programs, collaborating with senior marketing leadership and partners across product, IT, legal, digital, business units, and agencies to move from alpha testing through ongoing adoption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in life sciences marketing or related roles; or 6+ years with advanced degree.
• Strong scientific fluency in Molecular Biology, Protein & Cellular Analysis, Cell Biology or related fields.
• Experience building and executing marketing strategies, campaigns, and go-to-market plans.
• Ability to translate academic workflows into clear customer messaging and assets.
• Experience collaborating across marketing, product, IT, legal, digital, and agencies.
• Experience using marketing data and insights to optimize programs.
• Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own the marketing workstream for a pre-launch AI-enabled scientific platform, including planning, execution, and tracking.
• Support go-to-market planning with senior marketing leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Develop positioning, messaging, and audience narratives for academic and translational labs.
• Create and execute programs to drive awareness, registered users, and platform engagement.
• Translate scientific workflows into customer-facing messaging and campaign content.
• Partner with subject matter experts for platform use-case validation.
• Contribute to knowledgebase strategy with relevant content.
• Use analytics and insights to optimize adoption programs and growth opportunities.
