Job summary

This hands-on role mentors engineers while driving test strategy, coverage, and release readiness across the stack. You will work with product, software engineers, and DevOps to shift quality activities earlier in delivery and to build scalable QA frameworks and best practices for

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software quality engineering with hands-on automation.
• Deep Playwright experience including architecture and CI-scale tests.
• Experience using AI-assisted tooling in testing workflows.
• Strong functional testing design, risk-based prioritization.
• Proven ability to build test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Proficient in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with Jira/Xray and CI/CD integration.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading initiatives.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end functional test coverage across UI, services, and integrations.
• Hands-on testing, automation, and exploratory testing across the stack.
• Define and maintain the application's test strategy and cadence.
• Provide release readiness assessments to leadership.
• Mentor engineers on test design and AI tooling usage.
• Lead by example in code reviews and pair programming.
• Contribute to QA automation framework and standards.
• Partner with engineers, product, and DevOps to shift quality left.
