Job summary

MSD Malaysia seeks an enthusiastic intern to join the Research Lab's Robotics and Workflow Data Capture teams for AI-enabled automation projects. You will work on data capture, scripting, and knowledge sharing across sites in a hands-on internship.

The role focuses on AI/LLM applications, GitHub repositories, and software development to improve automation workflows and documentation. Collaborative, cross-site experience is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed studies in a science/engineering field related to data science or software.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL with exposure to APIs or data processing.
• Working knowledge of version control (GitHub) and software documentation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with automation scientists and data science professionals across Robotics and WDC teams.
• Analyze automation scripts and historical records to find common patterns.
• Develop an AI-enabled knowledge repository to support scripting and troubleshooting.
• Integrate GitHub repositories and technical docs into a centralized knowledge platform.
• Create technical guidance and standardized scripting practices for knowledge transfer.
• Prepare technical summaries and presentations of project findings.
• Present outcomes at the end-of-summer intern symposium.
