Job summary

Nossaman LLP is seeking a Knowledge Management & Innovation Director in Los Angeles to lead and execute the Firm's KM, innovation, and AI enablement initiatives. The role partners with attorneys, practice groups, and administrative departments to drive strategy, adoption of emerging technologies, and innovative delivery of legal services.

The successful candidate will be a strategic leader and change agent who can build consensus, identify opportunities, and deliver measurable value for the Firm

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; J.D. or equivalent legal industry experience strongly preferred.
• Seven or more years of progressive leadership experience in knowledge management, legal innovation, legal technology, legal operations, or related field.
• Strong understanding of law firm operations, legal workflows, knowledge management principles, legal technology, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational change and driving technology adoption.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, project management, and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead firmwide knowledge management and innovation strategy to strengthen attorney effectiveness and client service.
• Enhance knowledge capture, organization, sharing, and reuse across the Firm.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement AI-enabled and legal technology solutions to improve productivity and service delivery.
• Partner with Firm leadership, practice groups, and admin departments to advance innovation and technology adoption.
• Establish meaningful metrics and reporting showing user adoption, engagement, and business impact.
• Build and lead KM & Library team to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
