Job summary

Nossaman is seeking a Knowledge Management & Innovation Director in Los Angeles to lead KM, innovation and AI enablement initiatives. The role reports to the Chief Information Officer and involves hybrid work in the Los Angeles Office.

The successful candidate will drive knowledge sharing, technology adoption and measurable client value. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years in KM or related fields; a JD or equivalent is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive leadership experience in knowledge management, legal innovation, legal technology, legal operations, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of law firm operations, legal workflows, knowledge management principles, legal technology and AI-enabled solutions.
• Demonstrated success leading organizational change, influencing stakeholders and driving technology adoption.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, project management and strategic thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads and executes a firmwide knowledge management and innovation strategy that strengthens attorney effectiveness, practice excellence and client service.
• Enhances access to institutional knowledge and improves how resources are captured, organized, shared and reused across the Firm.
• Identifies, evaluates and implements AI-enabled and legal technology solutions to improve productivity and service delivery.
• Partners with Firm leadership, practice groups and departments to advance innovation and process improvement.
• Establishes metrics and reporting to demonstrate user adoption and business impact.
