Job summary

V2X, Inc. seeks an IT Operations Automation & AIOps Engineer to design, build, and operate automation for a data-driven IT environment. You’ll translate manual tasks into automated, auditable workflows and enable AI agents to handle routine incidents with human oversight.

You will implement IaC with Ansible and Terraform, integrate with CI/CD and ITSM, and advance an agentic platform across cloud and on‑premise resources. Must be eligible for U.S. security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years IT operations or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years automation with Ansible and/or Terraform.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate automation and AI-first IT operations frameworks.
• Develop IaC templates with Ansible; create Terraform configurations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure code and automate testing.
• Integrate automation with ITSM (ServiceNow or equivalent).
• Operate an AIOps platform; manage autonomous agentic workflows.
• Ensure security baselines, governance, and compliance in automation.
