The role leads AI-assisted planning initiatives and collaborates with engineering to deliver durable, data-driven inventory policies. You will drive continuous improvement, manage analysts transitioning to agent-operated tooling, and communicate policy rationale to leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in inventory planning or related analytics.
• Hands-on with inventory target setting and multi-node placement.
• Experience building internal analytical tools or recommendation engines.
• Strong SQL and Python for analysis; ability to write code.
• Leadership experience across teams; familiarity with ERP/planning systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the day-to-day decision logic behind inventory target setting and stock placement across the network.
• Shape how targets are set, not just what they are.
• Move to an AI-assisted operating model with agents and ranked recommendations.
• Co-design tooling with engineering teams and validate outputs.
• Validate models and data with operating teams before scaling.
• Own the forecast-to-target handshake and ensure feedback loops move both ways.
• Tell leadership the policy story and ROI implications.
• Develop analysts into agent operators and document the playbook.
• Own network-level inventory health KPIs such as turns and service levels.
