Job summary

Forbright Bank is seeking a driven intern to support the Internal Audit team from June 22, 2027 to August 12, 2027. The role involves collaborating with the Internal Audit group, participating in process walkthroughs, and documenting control assessments while supporting AI-enabled tool development.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field with strong analytical, communication, and multitasking abilities, plus proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field required.
• Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
• Experience with artificial intelligence (AI) and/or data analytics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Internal Audit team to support departmental objectives.
• Participate in walkthroughs of key processes to understand risks and controls.
• Assess design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and document findings.
• Assist in executing audits aligning with standards and preparing workpapers.
• Support development and evaluation of AI-enabled audit tools and agents.
• Maintain communication with Bank management and external auditors.
