Job summary

Newell Brands in Atlanta, GA, seeks a Senior Ideation Facilitator to lead high-impact sessions that unlock growth across our brand portfolio. You will orchestrate Gen AI–driven ideation workshops and customer co-creation to accelerate design decisions and seed concepts into the development pipeline.

This role blends expert facilitation, AI-native innovation, and business acumen to turn ambiguity into clarity, turning ideas into action within Newell’s NPD process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Innovation Strategy, or related field.
• 3–5 years experience in innovation, design or adjacent roles with a heavy facilitation remit.
• Demonstrated expertise planning and leading cross-functional workshops and design sprints.
• Strong command of human-centered design and problem-framing methods; able to select and sequence the right tools.
• Proven track record converting workshop outputs into funded projects or measurable business impact.
• Exceptional verbal and visual storytelling; comfortable influencing senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency with digital collaboration and creation tools (Miro/ Figma/Adobe CC); Gen AI tools preferred.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Plan & Facilitate: Architect end-to-end sessions using Gen AI to clarify objectives and tailor agendas.
• Program Management: Run the pipeline of facilitation demand—intake, scoping, scheduling, logistics.
• Outcomes & Decisioning: Drive teams to crisp decisions and assign ownership for post-session follow-through.
• Consumer Integration: Design and integrate consumer insights and co-creation with partners into actionable frameworks.
• Methodology & Toolkits: Evolve Newell’s facilitation playbooks and create reusable templates.
• AI Native Methodology: Develop and integrate AI Agent teams into sessions to accelerate ideation.
• Cross-Functional Partnering: Align with Brand, Design, R&D, Insights, and Front End Innovation teams.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement: Track KPIs and iterate the operating model.
• Storytelling & Artifacts: Produce concept imagery, prototypes, and roadmaps.
• Culture Carrier: Model inclusive spaces and Newell values in sessions.
