Job summary

Rippling is seeking an HR Generalist to deliver core HR services at scale. You’ll own transactional and case-based work for specific client groups, leveraging AI-enabled workflows to drive speed and accuracy.

The role focuses on fast, high-quality HR support, from onboarding to offboarding, in a hybrid SF Bay Area setting. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in HR Generalist roles, strong written communication, and working knowledge of employment law, HRIS, and ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role with direct ownership of performance management, employee relations, or HR case work
• Demonstrated comfort using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) in day-to-day work
• Experience managing high-volume, process-driven HR work without sacrificing quality or compliance
• Strong written communication: draft clear, professional documentation with minimal review
• Applied knowledge of federal, state, and local employment law, with ability to flag and elevate legal risk appropriately
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, ticketing systems, and HR tech tools
• Process-oriented mindset: look for ways to systematize and improve repetitive work
• Ability to flex across orgs and manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• End-to-end performance management cases for assigned client groups
• Terminations & offboarding for Senior Manager and below
• HR Help Desk triage, routing, and resolution
• Internal mobility transactions and coordination
• Exit interviews: scheduling, conducting, surfacing themes
• HR Inbox management for assigned orgs
• Operate AI-assisted workflows for case intake, documentation, and communications
