Job summary

Distyl AI, Inc. seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with engineers, researchers, AI strategists, and leaders. You will coach managers through growth, diagnose organizational issues, and design scalable, fair systems for compensation and org structure.

You will shape Distyl’s People function, using AI tools daily to create repeatable processes, and will drive change across teams in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

5–8 years in HR with business partnering experience.
Experience coaching managers and leaders through change.
Experience with compensation and leveling frameworks.
Strong judgment, discretion, and communication.
Tech or AI industry background preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with managers and leaders on performance, structure, hiring plans.
Coach managers and ICs through growth and transitions.
Define evidence-based frameworks to scale Distyl.
Advise on compensation and merit decisions.
Lead team-level org design and change management.
Read the system using engagement and attrition signals.
Work AI-native: use AI tools daily for documentation and analysis.
