Job summary

Mercer Health is seeking an Innovation Architect – Product Design to transform raw ideas into investable opportunities. You will apply product thinking, human-centered design, and AI-enabled reimagination to shape the innovation intake and strategic prioritization for health solutions.

You will lead workshops, refine problem statements, validate demand with stakeholders, and drive end-to-end innovation through stage-gates and governance forums.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in product management, product strategy, management consulting, or innovation program management.
• Experience in the healthcare industry.
• Background in digital transformation, AI product development, or enterprise technology strategy.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and working sessions that drive alignment and clarity across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong problem definition and structured thinking, moving from vague ideas to well-scoped opportunities.
• Familiarity with AI capabilities and how AI can reshape business processes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end innovation facilitation; manage concepts through the innovation cycle with leaders across business, design, product, and tech.
• Coordinate validation activities and stage-gate reviews with clear agendas, notes, and decisions.
• Maintain portfolio visibility and manage risks, issues, and dependencies to sustain momentum.
• Develop evidence-based business cases and value hypotheses for go/no-go decisions.
• Translate market intelligence into compelling points of view for clients and thought leadership.
