Job summary

Appalachian Regional Commission is seeking a Project Compliance Specialist to join the General Counsel office. You will support the grants management platform by handling profile activations, inquiries, data collection, and compliance reviews.

The role requires collaboration with federal, state, and local partners, meticulous documentation, and proactive process improvements. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree (or CGMS) and 3 years of relevant experience, with strong knowledge of AI tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or CGMS certificate is required.
• Experience verifying eligibility across federal systems (SAM.gov, USAspending.gov).
• Proficiency with grants-management systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Verify applicant and awardee eligibility and document findings.
• Perform project compliance reviews for profile activation.
• Manage calendar, data collection, tracking, and analysis for grants.
