Sierra, a San Francisco‑based AI platform company, seeks an experienced Accounts Payable professional to join our finance team. You will manage vendor bills globally, implement AI‑driven processes, and ensure compliance with company policies.

The role requires 5+ years in accounting, experience across multinational entities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to design scalable workflows. You will work with procurement, FP&A, Navan, and Ramp to streamline expenses and year‑end

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience in Accounting or Accounts Payable.
• Experience in a global multi-entity environment with multiple currencies.
• Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
• Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
• A track record building scalable, automated processes.

Responsibilities

• Process vendor bills across all global entities using Ramp.
• Develop processes to onboard vendors including bank verification.
• Respond to vendor inquiries promptly.
• Align with procurement and FP&A teams as needed.
• Review expense reports and ensure policy adherence.
• Account for and reconcile corporate card charges.
• Assist with T&E inquiries using Navan.
• Prepare 1099s at year end.
