Job summary

Optimal, a performance marketing agency, is seeking an SEO & GEO Strategist who loves the intersection of search, AI, and brand visibility. You will shape how brands appear on Google, AI Overviews, and LLMs, combining technical SEO with content strategy and digital PR.

You will perform audits, optimize on-page elements, and collaborate with developers to improve crawlability and AI readability while tracking performance across traditional analytics and GEO platforms.

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant SEO experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Analytics, English/Writing, or Communications.
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into clear SEO + GEO recommendations.
Understanding of how LLMs and generative search reshape SEO visibility and discovery paths.
Familiarity with AI visibility and prompt-tracking tools to measure performance in generative platforms.
Experience using Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, and keyword tracking tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex SEO + AI insights.
Solid grasp of schema, canonicals, Core Web Vitals, and XML sitemaps.
Experience with SEO platforms and tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush).
Willingness to expand into GEO and AI-driven content strategy.

Responsibilities

Produce high-quality, research-driven content engineered for both human audiences and LLMs, enhancing visibility across search engines and generative platforms.
Conduct comprehensive SEO and GEO audits to identify opportunities for growth across Google Search, AI Overviews, and LLMs.
Perform LLM visibility and sentiment audits to surface actionable recommendations for authority, trust, and visibility.
Implement on-page SEO optimizations, including metadata, internal linking, schema markup, and entity structuring.
Collaborate with developers to execute redirects, canonicalization, structured data validation, and Core Web Vitals improvements.
Analyze and report on performance through traditional analytics tools and GEO platforms, translating findings into actionable insights.
Stay ahead of evolving AI trends by testing and documenting GEO best practices for LLM visibility.
