Job summary

Niyam IT is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to guide full‑stack engineering and AI-enabled solutions for a federal client. The role requires strong leadership, hands‑on development, and a focus on secure, scalable delivery across web and mobile applications.

You will drive architecture decisions, oversee CI/CD and DevSecOps practices, and mentor teams while coordinating with product owners and security teams. This is a hybrid role onsite in Ashburn, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of professional full stack software development across frontend, backend, and API layers.
• Hybrid schedule 3–4 days/week in Ashburn, VA.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture aligning with business, product, user, and mission objectives.
• Lead architecture principles, standards, design patterns, and guardrails.
• Guide AI/ML integration, including chatbots, AI-powered search and accessibility features.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership across SDLC and review critical components and APIs.
• Mentor developers on architecture, coding practices, and emerging technologies.
• Ensure security, performance, scalability, and operational readiness of solutions.
