Western Alliance Bancorporation is seeking a Staff Engineer II – AI Forward Full Stack Engineer to provide advanced technical expertise across Lending technology platforms with a focus on AI-enabled full-stack delivery. You will design and deliver secure, scalable solutions using Azure API Management, .NET, Python, React, SQL, and ETL, while guiding junior engineers and aligning with governance standards.

You will collaborate with architects, partners and QA to ensure reliable deployments,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering in financial services or lending.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Leadership experience on features or components preferred.
• Experience with Azure cloud, APIs, data integrations and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development techniques and GenAI tools.
• Strong knowledge of security, governance and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and deliver AI-enabled, cloud-native full-stack solutions for Lending.
• Lead and review code to ensure architectural alignment and quality.
• Build secure APIs and data integrations using Azure technologies.
• Develop with Azure, .NET, Python, React, SQL and ETL tools.
• Implement and support CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with partners, architects, QA and cross-functional teams.
