Job summary

Dataminr is seeking a skilled full-stack AI software engineer to design, develop, and maintain AI-driven web applications and microservices. You will build RESTful backends with FastAPI/Flask, create React-based dashboards, and integrate LLMs with RAG pipelines for real-time document processing and semantic search.

You will work with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), participate in deployment on AWS using Docker, and collaborate with AI researchers to bring production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with 3+ years of experience in full-stack AI software development.
• Experience with Python for backend development and ML/NLP workflows.
• Frontend experience with JavaScript; 2+ years in React and REST API integration.
• 2+ years building RESTful services with FastAPI and/or Flask.
• 3 years working with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and MongoDB.
• Experience implementing search and information retrieval with Elasticsearch.
• Experience integrating LLM APIs and RAG pipelines (LangChain) into production.
• NLP techniques (NER, text classification, topic modeling) using NLTK/Spacy/Sklearn.
• Experience collaborating with AI researchers to deploy models in production.
• Containerizing and deploying apps with Docker on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack AI-driven web applications and microservices.
