Job summary

Nationwide Technology is hiring a Software Engineer to deliver secure tech solutions for a Fortune 100 organization with near $70B in sales. You will lead a cross-functional team, apply AI-assisted delivery, and develop capabilities using Angular, Java, REST APIs, and Informatica PowerCenter.

You will gain deep knowledge of annuity and claims processes, mentor teammates, and help drive straight-through processing for electronic applications while maintaining security and high-quality coding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/MIS or related; tech certs allowed in lieu of degree.
• Four+ years of software engineering, analysis, or related experience.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
• Insurance/financial services knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze solutions, develop, test, debug, document, and deploy software in an agile setting.
• Apply secure software practices across the delivery lifecycle to protect data and systems.
• Use DevSecOps tools and practices.
• Drive continuous learning and improvement through training and innovation.
• Manage medium to large project priorities and deadlines proactively.
• Provide technical guidance to teammates.
• May perform other responsibilities as assigned.
• Reporting Relationships: Reports to a Technology Manager/Director.
