EY is seeking a talented Solution Engineering Manager in New York to lead a multidisciplinary squad delivering AI-enabled financial solutions and mission-critical platforms. You will own end-to-end delivery, shape architecture, and mentor engineers across onshore and global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading an engineering team or squad.
• Advanced knowledge of Java (Spring) and Python; distributed systems design with Kafka and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on cloud-native microservices experience and end-to-end integration with containers; CI/CD and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a squad of 5–8 engineers delivering mission-critical financial platforms and AI-enabled client solutions.
• Own squad execution from requirements and estimation through release and handover.
• Mentor and grow engineers; foster an inclusive, accountable culture across onshore and global members.
• Own pod architecture, service boundaries, fault tolerance, and integration contracts aligned with EA standards.
• Advise stakeholders on feasibility, buy-vs-build, and regulatory impacts; lead discovery workshops and demos.
