Job summary

itD is seeking a Project Coordinator III to support budget planning, forecasting, spend governance, accruals, and reporting within its Hardware Devices organization. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in financial operations and hands-on experience with AI-driven workflow automation. Location is Hybrid — Sunnyvale, CA (3 days per week onsite).

Qualifications

• 5+ years in spend tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and capacity or resource analysis.
• Practical experience with prompt engineering, AI agent development, or workflow automation to improve business processes.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills with complex formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and large-workbook modeling.
• Experience analyzing financial data, identifying spend/forecast variances, and delivering actionable recommendations.
• Experience building dashboards and data visualizations using BI tools (Tableau/Power BI/Looker).
• Ability to present financial reports to directors and senior leadership, including non-finance stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal English communication; able to explain findings clearly.
• Ability to work autonomously in ambiguous environments and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support budget planning and forecasting cycles for engineering teams; guide submissions and resolve inquiries.
• Analyze spend data to identify variances, explain drivers, and suggest optimizations.
• Audit budget/forecast submissions for data accuracy and consistency.
• Manage monthly accrual cycles by validating accruals against PO balances and receipts.
• Develop dashboards and recurring reports covering budget status, forecasts, commitments, and performance for leadership.
• Build and implement AI agents, prompt-based assistants, and workflow automation to streamline financial analysis and reporting.
• Collaborate with budget owners and cross-functional teams to resolve spend questions and drive actions to closure.
