Job summary

Faraday Future is seeking a Finance & AI Automation Intern in California. This role is for a technically-minded student who wants to apply AI inside a real public-company finance team and gain exposure to the company’s capital markets and funding activity.

You’ll use AI tools (and some simple code) to speed up repetitive finance tasks, help with data cleaning, categorization, and reporting, and build small automations under the guidance of the finance team. No finance background required.

Qualifications

• Education: pursuing or completed degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Detail Orientation: proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, and able to find smarter ways to work in a fast-moving environment.
• Technical Aptitude: strong interest in AI and technology; basic coding experience preferred.
• Capital markets exposure or interest in equity/debt fundraising through coursework or self-study.
• Familiarity with Python, no-code automation tools, or AI coding assistants.

Responsibilities

• AI automation: build and document small automations and AI workflows under the guidance of the finance team.
• Finance support: assist with financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and month-end data preparation.
• Capital markets: help track financing, cap-table, funding timelines, and investor materials.
• Research: conduct market, peer, and investor research and prepare clean, well-sourced summaries for the finance and IR teams.
• Projects: showcase AI or coding projects from coursework or personal work.
