Job summary

Faraday Future, a California-based technology company, is seeking an Accounting Intern to support day-to-day accounting operations within a public-company finance team. You will work with real transactions, reconciliations, month-end close, and supporting schedules, with a focus on leveraging AI to automate repetitive tasks.

Qualifications

• Pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Solid understanding of debits/credits, close cycle, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Comfortable learning and working in financial systems and with large transaction datasets.
• Detail-oriented, dependable, self-starting, and eager to learn in a lean, fast-moving finance team.

Responsibilities

• Support journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, vendor and expense coding, and month-end/quarter-end close.
• Assist with supporting schedules, be part of US GAAP accuracy checks, and prepare/ tie out deliverables.
• Provide light FP&A support including budget vs. actual analysis and ad-hoc requests.
• Use AI tools to automate data cleaning, classification, and reporting workflows.
