Job summary

Fisher Dynamics in Metro Detroit seeks a Lead Architect for Information Technology to drive ERP platform architecture, AI integration, and end-to-end delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams across engineering, ML, data, and QA, coordinating with executives on the 24-month roadmap and platform strategy.

The role requires deep expertise in ERP systems, cloud-native design, and secure, scalable architecture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
7-10 years of professional software engineering and architecture experience.
Experience architecting and leading large-scale platform or ERP implementations.
Proven technical leadership, architecture, or PM experience on enterprise projects.
Experience designing AI/ML-integrated systems or platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

Define the overall ERP platform architecture, tech stack, and design principles for AI initiative.
Architect AI-native patterns, APIs, and data structures embedding ML into ERP workflows.
Set technical standards, security practices, and data governance policies.
Design scalable, modular architecture for four phases and incremental delivery.
Lead SW Engineers, ML/AI Engineers, Data Engineers, and QA teams.
Make critical architectural decisions and conduct design/code reviews for excellence.
Oversee 24-month roadmap, milestones, dependencies, and delivery timelines.
Coordinate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into specs.
