Job summary

SundaySky, a US-based leader in AI-powered marketing experiences, seeks a deeply technical engineering leader to define architecture, guide a senior team, and stay hands-on with code and design. This is not a traditional management role; you will shape the technology and product delivery.

You will own the application, platform, data, integration, cloud, and AI architecture; prototype, set standards, accelerate development, and ensure security and reliability while maintaining customer

Qualifications

• Experience building AI agents, LLM-enabled applications, or intelligent automation.
• Ability to operate in a growth-stage environment with ambiguity and demanding commitments.
• Strong judgment regarding architecture, debt, security, and scalability.
• Evidence of hands-on software engineering leadership and prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and technical standards for an AI-native development model.
• Lead and mentor a small, senior engineering team.
• Prototype, implement, review, and debug complex systems in codebase.
• Translate product strategy into executable technical plans and AI-enabled workflows.
• Drive modernization of legacy components while ensuring platform stability and customer commitments.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to convert strategy into technical work and deliverables.
