Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an EHS Technician on the 2nd shift to support environmental, health and safety programs. You'll assist inspections, investigations and compliance tracking, using AI-enabled tools to improve reporting and decision-making.

You will gain hands-on experience with OSHA compliance, hazard identification, and safety systems while contributing to continuous improvement across operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or pursuing degree in EHS/business
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams); AI tools a plus
• Interest in manufacturing and workplace safety

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine safety audits and identify workplace hazards
• Assist with incident investigations and reporting
• Support OSHA recordkeeping and safety documentation
• Assist with new hire safety onboarding and toolbox talks
• Track safety metrics and analyze trends for improvement
• Support environmental compliance documentation and program rollout
