Job summary

McFadyen Digital is seeking a Solution Architect to design AI-powered ecommerce and marketplace platforms for Fortune 500 clients, while leading internal AI initiatives. You will define technology roadmaps, shepherd scalable commerce solutions, and partner with engineering and sales to deliver high-impact results.

You will lead technical discussions, craft compelling solutions, and guide AI strategy across the company, including MLOps, data pipelines, and governance practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solution/technical architecture focused on ecommerce or marketplace platforms.
• Proven sales engineering experience with enterprise 웹 technologies and SOW/RFP responsibilities.
• Strong communication, presenting to executives and technical teams at large organizations.
• Deep expertise in at least one major commerce platform (Adobe Commerce, commercetools, Shopify, Mirakl, SFCC, SAP Hybris).
• Hands-on AI/ML solution design and deployment in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Own technology solutioning for ecommerce and marketplace sales prospects and document requirements.
• Craft presentations, ROI statements, and demos for prospects; write scope and technical SOW details.
• Collaborate with delivery to estimate staffing and project timelines.
• Advise clients on AI/ML capabilities and cross-sell data management, enhancements, and partner solutions.
• Evaluate emerging AI/ML tech to enhance McFadyen's services and internal capabilities.
