Job summary

Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is seeking a senior leader to build a lean business development and partnerships function supporting the CEO's donor engagement and funding relationships.

The role involves researching priority funders, creating compelling pitches and investment cases, preparing the CEO for meetings, and standing up AI-enabled tools to accelerate prospecting and relationship insights.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years in fundraising, development or related fast-paced settings.
• Experience developing proposals or fundraising materials.
• Ability to build AI-powered tools and workflows.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Research and prospecting: map donors and opportunities to identify high-potential paths.
• Collateral & writing: build donor pitches, proposals and investment cases for funders.
• Preparing the CEO for success: briefing notes and talking points for donor meetings and events.
• Tracking & coordination: design and maintain AI-powered donor CRM and related tools.
