Qualifications

• Minimum 5–6 years in fundraising, strategy, or business development.
• Experience creating proposals and fundraising materials for senior stakeholders.
• Ability to build AI-powered tools and workflows (CRM, digests, data collection).
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Map CHAI's priority funders and identify high-potential donors.
• Conduct donor prospecting and research using AI tools.
• Develop donor pitches, proposals and investment cases translating priorities into asks.
• Coordinate RFPs and funding submissions with program and functional teams.
• Prepare briefing notes and talking points for the CEO and leaders.
• Plan CHAI's presence at conferences and key convenings.
• Design, build, and maintain a custom AI-powered donor CRM and related tools.
• Manage the CHAI Development inbox and donor portal access.
• Translate org-wide BD needs into a coherent strategy and lightweight tools.
