Job summary

EY is seeking an experienced engineering manager to lead application design and development across mobile, web and tablet interfaces. You will translate business needs into technical designs, guide teams through agile delivery, and shape scalable platforms using Java, Python, and modern front-end tech.

The role emphasizes AI/GenAI integration, API design, and distributed systems, with a hybrid work model and a strong emphasis on collaboration with clients and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication and authorization using Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure AD.
• Experience with data visualization tools and commercial dashboards.
• Experience with TDD / unit testing and working on complex codebases.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define user requirements, focusing on UI across platforms.
• Lead delivery of design and development via agile processes.
• Develop prototypes and demos quickly and effectively.
• Design APIs and microservices; guide technology choices and architecture.
