Job summary

EY is seeking a senior software engineering professional to join our Platforms Practice in the United States. You will identify user requirements and design UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms while coding and delivering client-ready software.

You will work within a hybrid model and contribute to scalable APIs, data analytics, and AI-enabled platforms using Java, Python, Angular, and modern cloud architectures. A bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of Angular frontend experience.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Familiar with Generative AI and agents.
• Design and implement robust APIs and microservices (Java, Python, FastAPI, OpenAPI).
• Experience with Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure AD.
• Experience with data visualization tools (D3, Highcharts, Plotly.js, Ember Charts).
• Experience with dashboards (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker).
• TDD / unit testing experience.
• Proficient in frontend performance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define user requirements for UI across platforms.
• Develop solutions, propose changes to policies, and establish procedures.
• Provide direction and feedback to team members.
