Job summary

EY seeks an AI and Distributed Systems Fullstack Engineer – Manager for consulting engagements in Chicago. You will identify user requirements and drive UI across platforms, leading teams to deliver high-quality software solutions for clients.

You will apply Generative AI, design scalable APIs, and mentor engineers while coordinating with clients and stakeholders throughout delivery and adoption. Travel may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Typically, no less than 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience with Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication/authorization with Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC, and Azure AD.
• Experience with data visualization tools and enterprise dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define user requirements focusing on UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
• Lead delivery of UI/Platform components with an emphasis on quality and risk management.
• Engage with external clients, run sessions, and guide workstreams from planning through closure.
• Develop solutions to complex problems and guide policy/procedure improvements.
• Provide direction and feedback to team members to ensure task completion.
