Job summary

EY is seeking a software engineer to identify user requirements and implement UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You’ll join a platform-focused team employing AI-driven approaches to deliver scalable software solutions across complex systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration within an agile delivery process and building robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI, and OpenAPI, with identity integration via Keycloak/OAuth2/Azure AD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (4-year degree).
• Typically, no less than 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• Strong frontend framework experience (Angular or similar).
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Knowledge of Generative AI and building Agents.
• Ability to design and implement robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Identity/auth integration with Keycloak, OAuth2, OIDC and Azure AD.

Responsibilities

• Identify and define user/customer requirements for UI across platforms.
• Develop user interfaces for mobile, web, and tablets.
• Engage in coding, programming, and creating specifications to deliver development services aligned with business requirements.
• Provide direction and feedback to team members to ensure timely task completion.
• Develop solutions to complex problems and influence policy and procedures.
