Job summary

EY seeks a technically adept Manager in Application Design and Development to shape UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms. You will identify user needs, drive API design and microservices, and guide teams through agile delivery while engaging external clients.

Travel may be required to support engagements, with a strong emphasis on quality and scalable architectures. The role leverages Generative AI, cloud and distributed systems know-how, and a passion for delivering commercial software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Typically 4–6 years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of Angular or similar frontend frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and Temporal.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and building agents.
• Ability to design robust APIs and microservices using Java, Python, FastAPI and OpenAPI.
• Integrate authentication using Keycloak, OAuth2 or Azure AD.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboards (PowerBI/Tableau/Looker).
• Experience with TDD/unit testing and frontend performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of processes, solutions, and projects with a focus on quality and risk.
• Engage with external clients and lead workstreams from planning through closure.
• Translate business requirements into technical design and architecture.
• Develop UI across mobile, web, and tablet platforms.
• Mentor team members and provide direction.
