Job summary

Kiewit Power Constructors District is seeking a Development Operations Specialist to ensure execution consistency, coordinate learners, and manage logistics across the Power Development Department in Lenexa, KS.

You will generate a proactive, reliable learner experience using the district development calendar, collaborate with the Power Development Manager, and support travel, rosters, calendars, and training materials while traveling up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Various experiences in operations, learning management, and/or teaching preferred.
• Construction operations experience is helpful for this role.
• Ability to learn and grow within the role.
• Knowledge management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Power Development Manager to accomplish the District Business Plan
• Leverage AI and automated workflows to streamline logistical requirements
• Manage rosters, attendance, learner communications support, calendars, reminders, room coordination, travel/room blocks, materials, supplies, surveys, post-class support, and closeout administration
• New Hire Training Program
• Senior Operations Course
• Power Development Initiatives
• Maintain digital content and project facing training material; utilize SharePoint and Microsoft Office to enhance content’s accessibility
• Act as primary knowledge manager for department
• Travel up to 20% of the time to facilitate on-site training
