The role requires strong Python backend development, experience with graph databases and LLM-based systems, and collaboration across software and hardware teams to accelerate CPU, GPU, and AI

Qualifications

• Strong Python engineering background with rigorous testing (unit/integration/end-to-end) in a large codebase.
• Experience with graph databases and/or vector search systems, including schema design and retrieval performance.
• Experience with LLM-based/agentic systems: retrieval-augmented generation, agent orchestration frameworks, tool use/calling, and awareness of cost/latency tradeoffs.
• Familiarity with RTL/HDL semantics and toolchains for parsing/elaborating hardware design sources.
• Experience with time-series/relational data stores and reasoning about cross-backend consistency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend data pipelines turning engineering data sources into structured representations.
• Design and evolve data schemas and queries to support new data types at production scale.
• Build and extend AI/LLM-based components for natural-language querying of engineering data.
• Diagnose and fix reliability and performance issues in distributed batch-processing pipelines.
• Design and implement new pipelines to bring additional engineering data domains onto the platform.
• Tune LLM components for accuracy, cost, and latency.
• Own a TDD-driven development workflow with the team’s VCS and code reviews.
• Collaborate with architecture, verification, and design teams to translate needs into platform capabilities.
