Job summary

Limble is building a data and analytics capability within its engineering organization. As Software Engineering Manager for Data & Analytics, you will own the data collection, storage, and surface area powering customer-facing insights across the platform.

You’ll guide architecture, define standards, and grow a small team into a high‑performing analytics organization. You'll partner with product leadership to translate analytics needs into a technical roadmap and will stay hands-on to shape

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data/analytics eng, with at least 2 years in engineering leadership
• Experience designing data infrastructure on AWS (Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redshift, S3)
• Ability to design transactional vs analytical boundaries and data models
• Experience building or contributing to a cross-team reporting/analytics framework
• Experience owning data pipeline observability (monitoring/SLAs/alerting)
• Active use of AI coding tools in day-to-day development
• Exposure to embedded analytics inside SaaS products
• Comfortable writing design docs and reviewing schemas
• Track record of hiring and developing engineers with a mission mindset
• Strong ability to translate data architecture decisions to product/business language
• Bias toward simple, scalable solutions
• Located in or near Charlotte, NC metro area

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategy for Limble's analytical data infrastructure
• Design the boundary between transactional data stores and the analytical layer
• Architect and own the reporting framework used by multiple teams
• Translate customer and business analytics needs into a technical roadmap
• Build, hire, and lead a high-performing data/analytics team
• Drive architectural decisions through ADRs with senior engineers
• Own observability of data pipelines, define SLAs, and alerting
• Establish data governance and quality standards
• Drive adoption of the reporting framework across teams
• Remain hands-on for critical design decisions and reviews
