Job summary

JPMorganChase in the Asset & Wealth Management division seeks a Data Engineering & Applied AI Lead Software Engineer to design and deliver AI-enabled data platform capabilities supporting data management, lineage, quality, and retention.

You will drive enterprise AI practices, mentor engineers, and own platform services from UI to data pipelines, ensuring secure, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in Software Engineering and 5+ years applied experience.
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of AI-assisted software development tools with ability to validate outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and secure handling of inputs/outputs.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI-enabled data platform capabilities powering data management products.
• Lead adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Own end-to-end delivery of data management products across UI, APIs, services, and data pipelines.
• Develop secure production code and review code written by others.
