Job summary

Electronic Arts is seeking a Software Engineer Intern to join the Enterprise Engineering Team. This technically curious role focuses on applying AI and automation to enhance data workflows and accelerate product improvements.

You will work with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, and Hugging Face under a Technical Director's guidance, in a full-time 16-week summer internship. Applicants must be undergrad students enrolled in an accredited degree program for summer 2027, eligible to work in Canada

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/AI/ML or related field.
Programming in Python (experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or LangChain).
Familiarity with MCP, LLM, and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

Use AI tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Hugging Face) to develop AI workflows, integrations, and data efficiencies.
Develop AI solutions or scripts that boost productivity in software development, data management, or analytics.
Analyze data and engineering workflows to identify optimization opportunities using LLMs, GenAI, or ML tools/models.
Research new AI frameworks and tools for enterprise use; document experiments, results, and implementation steps.
Work with engineers to measure gains and drive impact.
Collaborate with data and engineering teams on projects involving engineering efficiencies analytics, data pipelines, and systems.
