Responsibilities

• Data Architecture & Design: develop and evolve enterprise data models (conceptual, logical, physical).
• Data Flow: define data flow diagrams and orchestration strategies for governed data movement.
• System Alignment: collaborate with Application and Cloud Architects to support data standards.
• Technology Selection: create short-lists and criteria for data architecture components (warehousing, Big Data platforms, SQL/NoSQL).
• Data Governance & Quality: define governance policies, manage metadata, and ensure data quality across datasets.
• Compliance: design data retention, upgrade, and archive strategies compliant with policies and regulations.
• Technical Leadership & Mentorship: provide oversight and guidance to data teams.
