Job summary

West Monroe is seeking Data & Analytics Consulting Interns to join our Data & Analytics team aligned to the TechEx Practice. You will apply data science, analytics, and data engineering techniques to help clients extract insights and drive growth.

The role combines business acumen with technical problem-solving and requires SQL, Python, PySpark, or R experience. You will collaborate with executives and project teams, contribute to end-to-end data workflows, and gain exposure to BI tools like

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in progress with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Reside within 50 miles of assigned office and work in a hybrid model.
Willing to travel up to 50% with travel expenses covered.
Experience integrating AI tools into daily workflows to enhance productivity and outputs.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with client executives and team members to understand needs and recommend data-driven solutions.
Work with project teams to deliver valuable outcomes.
Initiate and complete project tasks under management guidance.
Evaluate and document client business processes and requirements.
Develop and test data science hypotheses to drive insights.
Assist in creating detailed business cases and strategic recommendations.
Utilize SQL, Python, PySpark, and R for data manipulation and analysis.
Design reports and dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
