Job summary

BetterBody Foods in Utah is seeking a Data Analyst to transform internal and external data into clear insights for sales, marketing, product, and retail strategy. You will partner with teams to evaluate performance, identify growth opportunities, and improve reporting using AI tools to accelerate research and automation.

The ideal candidate is curious, detail oriented, and able to translate complex information into practical recommendations, with strong Excel/Sheets, SQL, and dashboard skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• Experience analyzing sales, marketing, retail, or other business data.
• Experience using AI tools such as Codex, ChatGPT, Copilot, or Gemini for analytical work.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with structured analysis ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Working knowledge of SQL and databases or cloud data warehouses.
• Experience creating clear reports, visualizations, and presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and meet deadlines.
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn new tools and data sources.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales, category, retailer, marketing, and competitive performance to spot trends and opportunities.
• Gather, combine, and validate data from internal systems, syndicated data providers, and retailers.
• Use Codex and other AI tools to support research, code, automate workflows, and improve reporting.
• Create dashboards, recurring reports, presentations, and ad hoc analyses to communicate performance.
• Support sales and strategic projects with retailer and category insights including assortment and market share.
• Present findings and recommendations to Sales, Marketing, leadership, and partners.
• Review analytical work and AI outputs for accuracy and proper data handling.
