Job summary

ECPI University’s Virginia Beach campus seeks a Cybersecurity Faculty Member specializing in Artificial Intelligence to serve as a Subject Matter Expert. You will integrate AI into the cybersecurity and networking curriculum while delivering engaging instruction to students.

The role focuses on teaching AI-enabled cybersecurity topics, collaborating with academic leadership, and staying current with AI advancements to enhance learning outcomes at ECPI University.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in IT, CS, Cybersecurity, or related field (or Master’s with 18+ graduate hours)
• Ph.D. strongly preferred
• 3–5 years of relevant industry experience (10+ years preferred)
• Experience in teaching, training, or speaking preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for AI applications in cybersecurity and networking
• Collaborate with academic leadership to develop and refine AI-focused curriculum
• Teach courses related to cybersecurity, networking, and AI integration
• Apply innovative teaching strategies to enhance student outcomes
• Integrate emerging AI tools, techniques, and real-world use cases into instruction
• Stay current with advancements in AI and cybersecurity
